I'd like to be able to remotely toggle on and off defined firewall rules.
Toggling is to be done from the script so I'd rather not use Web GUI or CLI.
SNMP seems to be perfect for my needs but at first glance SNMP walker doesn't show anything that looks related to firewall.

Can I control firewall via SNMP? If so is the MIB published anywhere?

Can you share more details?

Are you trying to do this from within the LAN or externally?

I would just setup SSH with keys and have a script login and run a CLI command. Do be careful though... I would be hesitant to do this...

This is for my home LAN only.
SSH is sufficient and after all was much easier to use comparing to previous router (parsing web pages and sending forms).

Still, it would be more fun to do it with SNMP (in mid 90's SNMP was "my language" at work - I haven't use it since ;)
