We're a non-profit volunteer group providing wireless internet to a rural hilly area in North Yorkshire, England.

Attempting to 'upgrade' from ancient mesh network to 5Ghz APs and Clients.

It would be very useful if the EZ Controller software would work with the ENS500.
The ENS500 isn't listed as being supported but the ENH700 is.
I believe the ENH700 is actually two devices in one case the 5GHz device being an ENS500EXT.
So, in theory at least it should work.

Anyone any experience of this situation?

tell us about distances and path obstructions.
Generally, 5GHz has shorter range, but in outdoor settings, one can overcome that with higher gain antennas.
