New Around Here
Hi,

I have recently updated my router firmware from merlin build 376.x to 378.51. I have also follow the reset procedure..
since then I have issue where the Enigma-tv software will not connect to DM8000 SAT receiver. When i reboot the router RT-AC87U then it would connect.. But then after the next day it will not connect any more until the next reboot. On the older version it was never any issue.

DM8000 and the laptop are on the same network.

Can someone please help me how to diagnose this issue ?

Thanks,

Try using new ssids.

Hi,

Just to update on this.. After disabling the following it seems to be working now.

LAN Switch Control Page - NAT Acceleration and Spanning Tree Protocol are disabled
and NAT Loopback on the Firewall Page is Disabled

Thanks.

I had even tried with 358.52_beta4 and it is the same issue.. before on 356. version i had no issue. I think there is a bug

Only After rebooting the router than it will work but after the next day it stops to connect to the device
Anyway how to diagnose this from the router ? Upnp is also enabled.

So on the client pc using netstat I get this after the router is rebooted.. Another symtom is that i can no longer connect to telnet session on my DM8000.

TCP 192.168.1.23:53610 DM8000:http ESTABLISHED
TCP 192.168.1.23:53611 DM8000:http ESTABLISHED
TCP 192.168.1.23:53681 DM8000:http ESTABLISHED
TCP 192.168.1.23:53753 DM8000:8001 ESTABLISHED

Thanks,

Hi,

Any idea why i am getting this error ? I wanted to create a manual rule using iptables

iptables -A input -p tcp -s 192.168.1.0/24 --dport 80 -j ACCEPT
iptables: No chain/target/match by that name.

Thanks
