Hi, guys! ASUWRT provide a service called AiCloud, which help you to setup a private cloud on the router.

Today let’s talk about how to use it, still take RT-AC88U for example.

  1. Login router FW and go to AiCloud page
1)Cloud Disk, enables USB-attached storage devices to be accessed, streamed or shared through an Internet-connected PC or device.

  1. 2)Smart Access, enables Network Place (Samba) networked PCs and devices to be accessed remotely. Smart Access can also wake up a sleeping PC.

    2. Click the hyperlink on the UI or input domain name https://router.asus.com or IP https://LAN IP on the LAN side network, input domain name https://ddns or https://WAN IP on the WAN side network to login Web AiCloud page, please refer to picture 2

  1. 3. After input account/password (same as your router’s), you will enter in Web AiCloud page, please refer topicture 3, you can see the USB-HDD which pluged in the router after your enable “Cloud Disk”, click the disk to upload/download files as a private cloud, after enable “Smart Access” you can see all the sharing device on your network place.

4.Setting page, allow you to “Enable password protection”, change AiCloud Web access port and AiCloud content streaming port, please refer to picture 4.

5.Log page, on the page you can check it to find some information, like account login information or file upload/download, please refer to picture 5.
Note, you can’t download/upload file or create a folder on the root path due to limitation.
