Hi,
I have an Actiontec WCB3000N and ECB2500N MOCA system. The cable provider is Optimum online. The local is Cablevision. Everything was working fine. There are 5 set-top boxes on the cable system. Some of the set-top boxes were experiencing low signal levels. The cable technicians solution was to run a second line from the street. He put put some of the boxes on one line and some on the other. The cable modem and router and EBC2500N were on one side of the system and the WCB300N was on the other. The MOCA signal was isolated from the units. The solution is to put a bandpass filter that allows the MOCA signal to pass but not the cable tv signal. Has anyone tried this? Do you have any recommendations as to the type of filter to use. I would appreciate any information.
Thanks
