hi all,

my sweet and beloved Asus WL-330N3G just died. Only a blue/red 3g-led.

I was really attached to this very tiny router, because it had so much functionality. Sharing a paid hotspot, adding wifi to an ethernet-machine, etc. etc.

Is there any alternative for this pretty little thing? I'm most of all seaching for a tiny router that can share a wifi hotspot, using a password and redistributing the signal again.

Any advice would be appreciated.

If I was in the market, I'd probably be looking at the GL.iNet line of travel/mobile routers. Seems to be their specialty and users seem to recommend them often. There's numerous models on Amazon, including a couple w/ T-Mobile support (wasn't clear to me if you needed that).

This one is a little more expensive, but with better Qualcomm SoC and dual-band radio:

I have the version with external antennas and Gigabit ports, GL-AR750S-Ext. It works well.

Make a Pi router :) You'll have fun doing it.
