New Around Here
hiiii!

im on RT-N66U_380.59_0 and since some days it forgets WAN-settings (dhcp-automatic, no special settings) and i have LAN but no internet until i go through quicksettings on the webinterface!

reflashed and defaultsettings tried several times,
tried 30/30/30 but that doesn work on my asus n66u :(
after flashing a firmware or setting defaultsettings, my changed admin-password is still there, strange

does anyone have an idea?

seems to work now again - poweroff, pressed the wlanbutton and powered on and let loose after 10sec. - adminpassword still there :(
it did erase a mac-adress which was set in my WAN-settings (i dont think i need one)

poweroff, waited 5min, poweron... and voila my internet is here again!

You may want to do a proper reset to factory defaults and then manually and minimally configure the router to secure it and connect to your ISP.

http://www.snbforums.com/threads/no...l-and-manual-configuration.27115/#post-205573

In addition, after performing the above, you may want to physically unplug all network devices from the AC power and leave them off as long as you can, including the modem (for at least 10 minutes, 30 minutes is better and an hour or more is ideal). This will reset the connection to your ISP and possibly solve other issues on your network too.

thx a lot man i will try that if it will not work tomorrow!

in addition:
maybe someone sees something strange :)
