Enable "Redirect Internet Traffic", otherwise as the setting said, your Internet traffic will still be going directly to your ISP.

Hey Merlin,

Thanks. I tried that but its still defaulting to IP address of ISP?

It shouldn't. Make sure your tunnel does go up, and that your browser isn't caching your test site.

Something not right?
Something not right...true.

Try the following.....
Change port to 1194
Accept DNS Configuration to Strict
Encryption cipher to CBC-BF
Redirect Internet traffic to Yes

If that doesn't help, please post your syslog from the openvpn start...

Ah ha, Bingo. Thanks.

Speeds not good but its certainly working! Getting 10mbps D and 8 mbps Up. As opposed 40 ish mbps D and 10 ish mbps Up?

That may not be too far out of line with an N66. On a default clock AC68, the best you can do is around 20-25Mbpx down and that's with running the OpenVPN client on essentially a dedicated core (overclocking can get into the 55Mbps range). So with the slower single core MIPS 10-12 Mbps might be reasonable.

A couple of things you can try now that you have the basics working....

ARM has some optimizations for these settings, not sure about MIPS
Change port to 1196
Encryption cipher to AES-128-CBC

or, if you are just primarily concerned with location change and not encryption
Change port to 1195
Encryption cipher to None

I see. Thanks, I can tinker about now anyway.

On-wards and upwards!
