Need some advice on a switch.

I am upgrading to gigabit internet. I have purchased a edgerouter lite, and I have purchased a Orbi to use as a wireless AP (my place is not conducive to running wires for wireless APs).

I would like to use one port on the edgerouter lite out to a switch. From the switch I would like to have one port going to the orbi, and another wired to one PC. The PC I would like to achieve the closest I can get to full gigabit speed (I know I wont reach it), and at the lowest latency I can get.

I don't need PoE on the switch, and I really don't need a ton of ports, I just want it to be capable of delivering close to gigabit speeds to that pc at low latency.

Recommend me a switch please.

If you don't plan on using any VLAN's, just pick up an unmanaged gigabit switch. You can find 5 to 8 ports, in the $10 to $40 -ish range. Plug and play..

The above is a great little switch which I've managed to get in the $10 range (on sale). Don't spend more than you need.
