Hi,
This is my first post and I’m hoping you guys can help me. I’ve read a lot on here and can’t find a fix to my problem.
-1gig down, 250up fiber optic internet
-Used cheapo router from ISP for a couple days with no issues. It’s a problem with the router.
-cable comes straight from outside box into my router.
-The only router/modem/access point on network.
-Was on latest firmware. Tried downgrading to every firmware until I got to 38 or 36. On Voxel’s firmware now.
-Rebooted and factory restored multiple times.
-Only around 7 devices tops on network at any given time: iPhone, iPad, 2 laptops, 2 Rokus, and a printer.
-When it drops, it drops wireless and wired connections.
-Router is not overheating. Even it’s in well ventilated area and I also put an old cooling pad I had underneath it to be sure.
-Disconnects about once a day. When it does, it usually doesn’t work for 20 or so minutes. Sometimes when I reboot it, it works right away but sometimes it doesn’t.
It’s only about a year old. No idea what else to do. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
