Network map not always accurate. How to change icons?

I was just doing some more maintenance and updated the firmware on my RT-N66U so not sure if thats the case but I know I had set different icons for some of my devices but I'm sure how I did initially as I can't figure out how to change them.
Also is it normal for the Clients connected to be inaccurate? I can have 5 devices connected and sometimes only show 2-3 and they will often pop on and off.

I'm not sure if this is how you have done it, but in the network map if you click on clients status icon, there is an option to change the icon.
