New Around Here
Having recently moved to a new city, it seems as though I lucked out in moving into a building that provides a gigabit ethernet connection for $79.99! I'd love to be able to maximize these speeds with my ASUS router but I've been delegated to using the ISP's modem for the time being until I can resolve the matter. I've tried several google & youtube searches, as well as read some articles talking VLAN tagging. The best I was able to come up with so far was the command robocfg while in ssh. Although the source material I read on it didn't divulge much information other than a few commands I had to go off of. Essentially, my ISP requires that I tag my internet VLAN id to 201. Is anybody knowledgeable on how to resolve this issue?
