I think there is some slight errors on your table regarding the ultra6 pro, it does not use an atom, it uses the same 1.8ghz dual core as the first-gen pro business/pioneer, and the atom models numbers appear slightly off

They are supposed to be updating the marketing materials asap.

As teknojnky advised, Netgear's marketing department made a bunch of errors in the new Pro and Ultra Plus release info. The Readynas Jedi's have been spending part of their day correcting this and fielding our repeated threads and posts about the mis-information.

Here's an example. I won't bore you with the others, but if you spend 5 minutes searching you'll find more details...

Make you wonder if Netgear's marketing is outsourced....

The Pro/Ultra2 are the only models with USB3. The new 4 and 6 bay units are still saddled with USB2 and none have eSata. Lovely!

Otherwise love the Readynas line.

Thanks. The info in the thread is still hard to follow. I've updated the post. Let me know if there are still errors.

re: link aggregation

Unfortunately, netgear wants to segment their software into 'business' and 'home/prosumer' models, and bonding is one of the 'business' only features. ie it is NOT on the ultra series.

There is, however, a user addon to enable bonding.
