New Around Here
Hiya.
Here is the problem.
I can not log inyo my AC68U router when my wireless adsl line is connected. It needs to use 192.168.5.1 as a static ip.

However.
I can connect when i pull out my internet plug and assign a dhcp.

This is how it looks.
Wireless isp---> my wireless antenna---> a little black box with power connected---> Asus ac68u---> My computer.

Thank you so much in advance.

Can you provide any extra info on the WISP device? It sounds like it is a router and has static IP addressing on the LAN side but not sure...

How are they connected? Is the WISP box connected to the AC68u through the AC68u WAN port? Or through a LAN port?

Because it sounds sucpiciously like you are connecting the router through a LAN port with the AC68u set to 192.168.5.1. It should be connected to the WISP box through the WAN port, with the WAN set to 192.168.5.1 and then the LAN side set to whatever range you want and DHCP enabled.
