New Around Here
Hello everyone,

I have been using Merlin firmware for a while now and love the stability however after doing the upgrade to 380.62_1 it seems as if I have lost my ability to FTP to my NAS.

I have power cycled both the router and the NAS along with a full reset on the router however I still receive a network timeout error in the FTP client. What is odd about this is when checking the port it does in fact show open/listening.

The reason I am starting here is because the update was the last thing which has been changed on my entire network. In the event it may help someone determine a cause or give me some things to look for the NAS is a QNAP TVS-EC880.

Thank you,

Over two weeks and no reply, I must be the only one seeing these issues. Thanks for the assistance, I will seek out other alternatives or go back to pfsense until I can remedy this.

When you did a full reset, did you use a backup config file and restore it afterwards? That effectively cancelled the reset. ;)

You may want to systematically try the above suggestions to get your network and router to a good known state and hopefully the issue goes away.

As you note, doesn't seem like too many others are bothered by it (seems like a phantom glitch to me that the above steps would resolve).
