NOTE: ntpmerlin users using chrony need to toggle to ntpd and back to chrony after updating entware
If you are willing to ssh into the router, I just removed /opt/etc/init.d/S77ntpd.
S77chronyd was intact after the update.
ntpmerlin still reported chrony as the timeserver post reboot.

I hadn't thought about toggleing in the WebUI. Simpler...

I don't have an entry in my system log since about 3 hours ago, although I recently toggled as per your instructions.
Reboot time?
BTW, my RT-AC86U hasn't dled during reboot in a long while, which makes me wonder if Asus fixed the bug.

EDIT: NM, it said syslog-ng was out of sync and restarted when I checked. I forgot that was part of entware.
It seems like it would be helpful to be able to restart syslog-ng from the UI? But I am very happy with it as it.
