I have a bit of a mystery that even Netgear doesn't have a clue about. I just bought two boxes of PLP2000-100PAS; each box has (2) adapters in it, and each adapter has (2) two Ethernet ports.
A box has a label with S/N and MAC - one S/N and one MAC. Both adapters have the same MAC on their labels.
What does the one MAC address in this case mean? Each adapter has to have its own MAC, and I'm thinking each port has to have its own MAC, right?
I can see two of the four adapters in Netgear Genie (only once after each install of the app). When I see them, they indeed do have unique MACs diff from the box label.
