OpenVPN: Exempt some sites

I live in the UK and I currently use OpenVPN for all connections, but I am seeking to exempt the BBC domains so I can watch BBC programs via the normal ISP connection.

I don't want to have to disable the VPN every time I go to the BBC, because it can get tedious.

How do I configure the OpenVPN to exempt the BBC, using the Custom Configuration section? Can it be done just by specifying the domain names instead of the IP addresses (since the IP addresses change often)?

You will need to identify the domain names using dnsmasq. Hopefully you have it enabled?

Script may need to be modified per your log file location.

You can start with this list of domain names. These work for the web interface and iOS ipad app. But you should validate on your end as your media streaming device may spawn off other names.
