The admin webpage of aicloud allows me to install a ssl certificate which works fine but after a reboot the default certificate is used.

Is there a way to have my own certificate used by aicloud after a reboot without me manually importing it ?
I was thinking of a startup script to overwrite the /etc/*.pem files and restarting lighttpd but am not sure if i'm even close of being on the right track.

TIA

If the certificate disappears after a reboot, then sounds like it's a bug. Unfortunately, most of AiCloud is closed source and/or obfuscated, so you might need to contact Asus about it. I suspect it might have been broken in the recent lighttpd upgrade.

Reply from ASUS:
Certain changes were made on the recent firmware that should actually interfere with this. Have you done a hardware reset after upgrading to version 3.0.0.4.380.3264 ? This with the hardware reset button on the back of the product, hold it for 10-15 seconds. Then it should be fully reset and all data is gone and it should fully implement the firmware changes. Then manually set the router, don't use any settings files as these aren't compatible.

I did the hardware reset and my certificate is now persistent.
Apparently resetting trough the web interface does not completely reset all area's as I did it that way post FW upgrade.
