New Around Here
I'm using official ASUS firmware, if I don't flash the firmware to Merlin version, is it possible to manually configure dnsmasq thru telnet?

Not really. You can edit the config files but a restart of dnsmasq will overwrite them.

When i was playing around with flexqos on stock firmware I used
script_usbmount=
to add changes during boot. Worked fine.

But depending on what you're doing it can be unreliable as any changes could easily be wiped out at a later point in time.
