I have been trying to get the openVpn client function of an Asus RT-AC68R router to work behind a Verizon router. I am beginning to think that it just might not be possible. Has anybody done this. The Asus router functions properly except for the VPN function. I want the Asus behind the Verizon so a not to loose telephone notifications etc. Thanks
Update: I didn't want to leave this thread hanging without an answer (although it was probably a stupid question) The short answer is yes. In my case I was able to set up the secondary router on a LAN to WAN configuration as suggested in option 1 at: https://www.dslreports.com/faq/16077 and http://routersetup.blogspot.com/2007/08/two-router-setups.html I got help in this thread https://www.dslreports.com/forum/r31282930-How-do-I-set-up-a-subnet
