Targeting small and medium businesses, Qnap introduced two new tower-based NAS product lines, all powered by quad-core AnnapurnaLabs Alpine AL-314 1.7 GHz processors. Both series support snapshots for data recovery (thanks to QTS 4.3.4) and get the option to boost performance with SSD caching.

TS-x31P2 series is available in 2-bay and 4-bay models with 1 GB and 4 GB RAM configurations (max 8 GB), support hot-swappable 2.5”/3.5” SSDs or HDDs, and include two GbE interfaces and two USB 3.0 ports.
