Hi All,

At our small company we have a SRV 2012 Essentials machine acting as DC. On our remote location users use a client to site VPN connection to log in. I would like to replace this with a (ipsec) site to site VPN connection and add a Qnap TS-253a acting as a additional domain controller and replicate shares using Rsync with the Qnap at our main office.

In theory this would work... But that's just theory... Did anyone actually try this setup already? Did it work? What were the issues you had implementing this? Were there any showstoppers?

Thanks for your answers & thoughts!

Best Regards, b.
