[Bug Fixes]

This release has corrected the following issues:

- When playing photos as a slideshow on a DLNA TV, Photo Station 5 will get stuck on a single photo.
- Qvideo for iOS fails to load .srt files.
- Qvideo for Android fails to load .srt files.
- Video Station fails to update movie information.
- The Episode Filter in Download Station cannot recognize Italian characters.
- The system incorrectly recognizes Traditional Chinese filenames if they are uploaded to the NAS (mapped as a FTP drive) using Windows File Explorer.
- The system fails to remove the .dsdownload filename extension once files have finished downloading.
- Photo Station fails to load Pixlr Editor.
- The system fails to activate EuP mode.
- The system fails to retain speed settings for system fans after the fan rotation speed is set to manual.
- The system fails to enter sleep mode.


[Known Issues]

• For x39, x59, x69, x71, x79 and x80 series NAS with Intel network controllers i217, 82574, or 82579, the maximum MTU size of these LAN ports can only be set to 8996 (you may need to set the matching MTU size on the switch/router/client as necessary).
• [Photo Station 5] Sharing to Weibo (a Chinese social media website) using the Upload function may be occasionally unsuccessful due to the website's network stability.
• For enhanced security on access controls, myQNAPcloud employs the OAuth 2.0 authorization protocol. If you experience difficulties accessing myQNAPcloud using mobile or client utilities, please see the following FAQs:

Virtualization Station 2.0

[Bug Fixes]
l If an SSL certificate is imported before upgrading to the latest version of Virtualization Station, then Virtualization Station cannot be launched.
l After importing an SSL certificate then enabling/disabling “Force SSL” in the Control Panel, the certificate will be changed.
l The mouse cursor is shown as a block rectangle.

[Improvements]
l When creating a remote backup or restoration task, the system will check if the remote NAS has enabled “Force Secure Connection only”.
l Added support for using Microsoft Windows 10.

[Limitations]
l This version is only available for QTS versions 4.2.0 (20150716) and later.

Yep, they have a bit of the "modern/metro/material" UI design stuff in there - most of the apps, once launched are pretty similar to QTS4.1, so not a big jump...

They did clean up some of the apps - better job with the volume management and storage pools, as this, in the past, was a bit daunting for folks that may have never worked with that kind of functionality and how they relate to disks, raid configurations, setting up the volumes, etc...

Just to follow up after a couple of days running QTS 4.2

No issues to report - I'm not running some of the higher order features - but as a RAID10 SMB/CIFS server with Virtualization Station enabled (with a dedicated NIC, not using the new virtual network interfaces/soft-switch) it's running fine...

This is running QTS4.2 on a TS-453Pro

Looks nice - I don't spend too much time in it once things are setup, but they polished the chrome up a bit...
