I work at a small college and they want me to podcast this lecture series they have coming up. Lately I've just been taking down this old Marantz CF Card field recorder and hooking it up to the soundboard. But I'm thinking there's got to be an easier way.
What I'd like to do is hook up something that will -
1. Record the audio to a SD Card for backup.
2. Send the audio over the network to my laptop upstairs or to a NAS/HD/server that I have access to.
Right now they've got some gorgeous rack mounted equipment (cd/tape deck/dat player) that if sold could generate some revenue to purchase something to doesn't require babysitting.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
