Would love some opinions on a mid-range router to fit my usage!

Formerly used a Netgear R6400, but upon restarting it yesterday, it did not power back up. This happened to me once before, when it was 2 months out of warranty, but randomly started working again after sitting off for a few days. I'm fed up with it, though.

Was using a DLink DIR-813(?) as a wifi repeater, but had to put it in as the main router due to the R6400 dying.

My netork:
Wired:
2 gaming PCs (we are enthusiastic gamers in this house)
1 home server (runs Plex, etc)

Wireless:
2 Rokus (a Roku3, and a Streaming Stick)
1 work laptop using VPN
2 Android phones (wireless N)
2 Android tablets (wireless N)
1 ipad 4th gen
2 ipad Mini 1st gens
1 iphone 6
1 HP OfficeJet 4680J

The router sits in the basement, near the ceiling in an unfinished portion. It is a cool, dry environment, with protected and clean power.

My budget is under $200....would like to keep it around $110-130

I don't really care much about USB, to be honest.

Would really like parental controls including time restrictions.
Would really like bandwidth usage by guest.

Thanks!

edit: had model of my Netgear wrong, it is R6400, not N6400

If you can stretch your budget by an extra $10 then the Synology RT2600AC is an excellent choice (priced at $209.99 at Amazon.com) though they're also selling a nearly new one for $178. Otherwise the Asus RT-AC68U for $145 is probably the best option for you. Its still a very good router but getting a bit long in the tooth now.

I’d get the R7800 or the RT2600ac both use the same Qualcomm hardware which is pretty advanced. The refurb R7800 was only $129.99 on Amazon and it edges out the Synology in the 5Ghz band and probably the best 5Ghz router overall, but Synology has a better UI.

Thank you, friends.
I believe I have narrowed my list down to:
Netgear R7000 AC1900 $179 (even though I am about to swear off Netgear products)
TP-Link Archer C3200 AC3200 $159
Asus RT-AC68U AC1900 $149
RP-Link Archer C2600 AC2600 $127

I ended up getting the Asus RT-AC1900P for $129.00
Seems to be working well for me so far!

Edit: My only gripe is that I cannot wall mount it or lay it down. :<
So now I need to build a shelf to house it.
