Hello

I have an RT-AC66U and I would like to convert him into a wireless extender. But if I use this configuration, the device creates a second "wifi-net" instead of amplifying the main one. I would like to know if I can amplify the main net installing the Asus Merlin firmware. Is this configuration possible?
The main wifi-net is created with an RT-AC88U.
thank you in advance.

The RT-AC66U does offer Repeater mode.

I suggest that it is wired instead and used as an AP for best WiFi performance though (Repeater mode will cut your throughput in half, or less).
