RT-AC67U & RT-N66U

Good day,

I currently have the 2 routers at caption.
RT-AC67U is my main router connected to my internet modem.

I need advice for the following:


Where I live we have 2 house on the same lot. Each house has a separate security systems, but only one has internet access.

I want to be able to use my RT-N66U to connect to my AC-87U wirelessly and also have the RT-N66U give off a separate SSID while allowing access to both DVR's through WAN.

Can this be done using Merlin's Firmware or do I need to use another, such as DD-WRT?

I am not sure I get what you want, but maybe it's me...

But I do not get at all what you talk about the AC67U router, wich does not exist...

Sorry buddy. I meant RT-AC87U.
Nevertheless, I will connect both routers using external outdoor AP's.
