I currently have 2 TP-Link AV200 units between the basement and 2nd floor office to extend my lorex security system's remote function. For that purpose its been working just perfectly for awhile. Now what I want to do is connect another access point for my wifi between the 2nd floor office and the family room.
I'm looking at the TP-Link AV1200 for the AP extension and was wondering if I could still use the AV200. My thought is to place one AV1200 in the 2nd floor office which ties into the LAN (where the other end of the AV200 is currently), the other AV1200 in the family room and then the AV200 still in the basement for the security system.
Anyone know if this will work? I assume the AV200 will still have the slower speed, but the AV1200 should be faster??
