Traffic analyzer - same in RT-AC68U and RT3200?

Hi all, a friend and I are both looking at upgrading our home wifi at the same time, so we are digging around a bit.

In terms of specs the RT-AC68U seems to meet our requirements pretty handily. However, we are having trouble telling whether the traffic analyzer capability is the same in both. There is some material from Asus that seems to say that the RT3200 has more comprehensive traffic analysis.

Does anyone know if it is the same or different? If different, how different?

Asus hasn't enabled the Traffic Analyzer on the RT-AC68U yet, only on the RT-AC3200 and newer models.

The alternative would be to run a third party firmware - my firmware adds it the RT-AC56U, RT-AC68U and RT-AC87U.
