The tri-band Trendnet AC2200 Wi-Fi Mesh Router System (TEW-830MDR2K) is a kit composed of two Wi-Fi mesh nodes said to provide coverage up to 4,000 square feet.

The mesh nodes support maximum wireless rates up to 867 Mbps on each of its two 5 GHz bands and 400 Mbps on its single 2.4 GHz band. Interfaces include two 1 Gbps network ports (WAN and LAN) and a single USB 3.0 port for SMB access.

The wall-mountable nodes also support Multi-User MIMO, seamless roaming, implicit/explicit beamforming and airtime fairness. More nodes can be added using TEW-830MDR mesh points.

Customers can use the free Trendnet app to set up and administrate their router system and also manage internet access using the pre-loaded Router Limits service (service fees required).

Available now, the Trendnet AC2200 Wi-Fi Mesh Router System (TEW-830MDR2K) is priced at $289.99, while the individual AC2200 Wi-Fi Mesh Router (TEW-830MDR) is priced at $159.99.
