Anyone using this? It's about $100.

Pros, Cons vs. the EdgeRouter Lite or X?

Interesting unit - depends on the gubbins inside - the SW is more than capable...

As a side note - UBNT is doing interesting things in the market outside of the major retail brands - and providing a lot of value to discerning customers...

Right now it's limited. You can't reserve IP's prior to connecting the client to the device. They are updating it quickly, and I think in a few months it'll be an awesome router. Not sure what they plan to do with the EdgeMax line since all their concentration appears to be on the UniFi lineup now.

Here's a decent, albeit almost 3-month old vid on the differences:

In a nutshell, the USG is a bit more UniFi-friendly with a built-in controller, makes site-to-site VPN config a bit easier, and a fair amount more accommodating to basic users, but in terms of overall features and power-use, it's still EdgeMax all the way. The USG platform is maturing, though, so probably by next year they'll flush out a good bulk of the missing and/or buggy feature set.
