New Around Here
Hello,

Since several days I am unable to connect to my provider SMTP server (or any other SMTP server)
I have updated my AC-RT87U to the latest Merlin firmware (387.50), changed several settings like disabling/enabling firewall, disabling/enabling AiProtection settings, but I still can't connect to the SMTP server.

I have tried another router and that worked without any problems so it is safe to say that the AC-RT87U is somehow preventing the connection on port 25.

According to the logging, there is an attempt to connect to the SMTP server, however the state is always SYN_SENT. I am not blocking any traffic.

tcp 10.0.abc.def:53861 213.197.abc.def:25 SYN_SENT

I did not try to reset the device to factory settings up until now. Before I do that, I hope that someone knows why this is happening.

Thank you

Arjan

Did you end up resolving this issue? I'm in a very similar situation.
