Hey guys! Don't really know about this stuff, just trying to help out at work. We just bought a 4K video camera because we're planning to start a YouTube channel. We will be filming in a demo room and want the feed to reach the main conference room which is basically on the other end of the building. Our boss wants to use this setup for any future video training/conferencing as well. I know you can send audio and video through your internet (video over ip) now as opposed to only through hdmi cables. We've been told this is the way to go since we want the feed to reach so far. Now comes the hard part, what do we actually need to buy? Someone suggested a unit from Atlona and says it can transport 4K quality. No price is disclosed though. Tried looking on Amazon (not available) and BH Photo (no pricing), but same results. What can we expect (ballpark) on the cost and is "Atlona" a reliable brand? Thanks for any help.

So you want to send uncompressed 4k over your network? What is at the other end? Usually you wouldn't send uncompressed video over a long distance for no reason. If you simply want to watch the 4K feed, you would need something to encode the 4K video at the source and then a way to view the stream. So some software like wirecast to ingest the video, process it, compress it and then send for delivery.
