Hey all.

Suddenly I got a brand new problem:
With my AC68U, hardware version A2, cannot anymore get online when I use "normal" setup.
"Normal" being without VPN. I use NordVPN.
For long time I have used OpenDNS servers on the WAN.
For testing, I tried my ISP's DNS servers (connect automatically option).
No change = no internet. Connecting to router OK.
Related: For some time I haven't been able to upload a NordVPN file into the router??!

On my Linux Mint client(s):
Starting NordVPN is no problem??!!
And through that all internet is working, but now no connecting to router, no matter by GUI, ssh or otherwise????!

I use 384.19 - is there problems? Should I use older version?

What to do? New settings? New router? (Merlin supported) - or ?????

Regards

Did you try connecting using the URL router.asus.com?

Now I had. Both with and without VPN.
No connecting in both cases :(

Thanks.

The router needed resetting. And now is working as supposed :) ;)

I did wonder what started the problem in the first place.

It usually is a stable router.

No sure if there would be any clues in the system log after the reset. But it may be worth a check if you are curious. The log file may gotten rotated though. An SSH session would be required to view it.
