New Around Here
Hi,

I have been testing the Allowed Clients feature at the bottom of the VPN Server configuration in Merlin.
The problem is that when I set it up as I have seen in some examples, I get the negation of the expected behavior. I mean, the Allowed Clients are actually prevented from connecting, while other IP addresses can connect just fine. The connectivity for the clients is restored as soon as I remove them from the Allowed Clients list.

Just to clarify the settings I have set as Yes:
  • Manage Client-Specific Options
  • Allow Client <-> Client
  • Allow only specified clients
As an side effect, I also noticed that Web WAN access is neither working for clients added to the VPN Server Allowed Clients list. I guess that it blocks all traffic from the IP addresses in the list.

My router is AC-88U and Merlin version is 384.13 (I could not make .14_x work due to WAN connectivity problems that I mentioned in other posts).

Thanks for any help!
