I am running an unraid server which is connected to an Asus n66u. I have been waking up server and closing down via vpn setup on the router without issue, I could do this remotely from my phone using the openvpn app. It has suddenly stopped working, I can't wake server from outside or within the network and I am not sure whether it's an unraid issue or hardware, I have posted on the unraid forum but not received any advice or pointers but having read the forum for related problems I saw that I needed to possibly check that a reset flag for the nic is initiated at shutdown, i booted into a console session to my server and typed
ethtool eth0 to see what is set.
I get....
Supports Wake-on: pumbg
Wake-on: g
Which I apparently what I should be getting. I have not changed any bios settings so wol should still be enabled. I don't what to do now and would appreciate any help.
