Zyxel’s has added three new members to its ZyWALL line of firewall appliances, designed to protect small and medium businesses.

The ZyWALL VPN50, VPN100 and VPN300 use Zyxel’s SecuDeployer feature to simplify deployment for up to 50 firewalls without having to use additional software or hardware.

ZyWALLs also feature active/passive high availability, multi-WAN load balancing, IPSec load balancing, a built-in AP controller, and integration tools for Facebook Wi-Fi (for retail/restaurant/hospitality businesses) and Amazon VPC (for cloud services).

Quick specs for each model:

VPN50 – 4 x GbE LAN, 1 x GbE WAN, 1 x SFP, 1 x USB 3.0, 50 max concurrent IPSec VPN connections, 150 Mbps VPN max throughput.

VPN100 – 4 x GbE LAN, 1 x GbE WAN, 1 x SFP, 2 x USB 3.0, 100 max concurrent IPSec VPN connections, 500 Mbps VPN max throughput.

VPN300 – 7 x Configurable GbE ports, 2 x USB 3.0, 300 max concurrent IPSec VPN connections, 1000 Mbps VPN max throughput.

Available now, MSRPs for Zyxel’s ZyWALL VPN50, VPN100 and VPN300 VPN firewalls are $499, $649 and $1,249 respectively.
