Zyxel’s NWA5123-AC AP Adds Flexibility For Growing Businesses

Zyxel’s newly announced POE-capable NWA5123-AC Unified Access Point, through the use of the Zyxel One Network Utility, can be deployed into a small business as a stand-alone AP, and then grow into a centrally-managed WLAN solution.

The new dual-radio 2x2 AP is rated for speeds up to 1200 Mbps (802.11n + 802.11ac) and is backwards compatible with 802.11a/g.

Other features the NWA5123-AC shares with others in the NWA5120 series include:

• Mesh networking-capable when used with one of Zyxel’s NXC Controllers.
• ZyXEL APflex for mode and automatic IP configuration.
• Security support for WPA2 Enterprise, EAP, and Radius authentication.
