    [Alpha] 386.2

HI, Haven't been around for some time. I am running 384.15 on RT-AC86U As of late, I am having to reboot my router every 4 or 5 days. Seems to be bogging down to the point that I can not even connect to Google. I have just downloaded RT-AC86U_386.2_alpha1-ga84fed8777 and reading through the...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.13 is now available

I have had to revert back to 384.12 because my RT-AC86U with Merlin 384.13 would peg at 100% on both cores after a couple of days. Reboot and they would stabilize but then creep back up to 100% after a few days. When 100% pegged, CPU temp is 88*+ When stabilized CPU temp is a cool 72*-75* Only...

Novice user unsure of what to do about an issue, any advice welcomed.

@Skeptical.me I'd be interested to find out, when you put your internet modem into bridge mode. What settings are configurable on it? I have noticed on my providers modem, I still had to turn off UPnP.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Thanks, For some reason it takes up to 4-5 minutes for Diversions Menu to display. Stays blank for some time. I uninstalled, re-installed and all seems fine right now.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Is there a way to get my diversion back? This is what I see if I choose Diversion from AMTM or just type Diversion at the prompt.

site2site OpenVPN connection between two ASUS routers

One thing I recently found out about the provider that I use, is I can have up to 4 routers connected to my modem (while in bridge mode) and each will get WAN IP's. While I only use my TV for Netflix, I think it would be nice to be able to browse anon

site2site OpenVPN connection between two ASUS routers

Any reason why it has to be a paid VPN provider? And not client server from home?

site2site OpenVPN connection between two ASUS routers

Like I said, I haven't a clue, just trying to wrap my head around VPN. What I would like to do is connect to OpenVPN Server from an OpenVPN Client and surf the net. Is this not like sitting at home, start up a client and connecting to a paid service? If I VPN into my network from work and...

site2site OpenVPN connection between two ASUS routers

    DNS Security

Your last screen would have me not connecting to the WAN side of my router. https://www.snbforums.com/threads/384-11-secure-dns.56702/#post-493719 I followed what Merlin and others mentioned.

    [Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.11 is available

As mentioned, hard to say. I have done a "Dirty Upgrade" for a while and with this latest FW, I had done a "Dirty" and all seemed fine. Then I started noticing errors in the log, issues with my USB drive. Which led me to wipe the router settings and start from scratch. Oddly enough, I feel that...
