    Lost My AiMesh

    Just an update: My RT-AX88U is in it`s box. Firmware updates didn't work. I got a RT-BE92U as my main router and set my RT-AX88U pro as my aimesh router. Everything is working fine now. When I get time I will try some of the fixes I found to get my RT-AX88u working again.

    Asus AImesh Node MAC Address Zeroed Out

    It seems there are quite a few of us with the zeroed out mac address on our Rt-AX88u routers. Supposedly there was a firmware fix for this but it did not work on my router. I still got the zeroed mac address. I think whatever happened broke the hardware.

    Think I'm going to set my AX88u to AP mode and leave it at that. I don't understand what happened since I had AiMesh working for months with these 2 routers. I could unplug and move them around no problems. If you all can't figure it out I don't know who can! Thanks for your suggestions.

    I installed the latest Asus stock firmware to the Node router. After the firmware install I made sure it installed correctly. Turned it off and did a hard reset.
