Netgear X10 R9000 advantage of the AD band?

I share the scepticism, also because I see beamforming being advertized for range extension which practice doesn't seem to be confirming... But this is what the IEEE freemasonry is promising, http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/8088544/...

Netgear X10 R9000 advantage of the AD band?

I understand a next generation of wigig with some more range and throughput should be around the corner but not here yet. The current .ad just didn't get very popular I guess. Not enough range for proper wifi (while few suffer from 4x4 5G wifi capping their broadband speed); not so much...

    R7800 and HT160 Setting

Do you have two 160MHz bands available and clear at 5G? It takes more than one GbE line to feed 1.73Gbps. Check here, someone writes it works for him... http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/intels-new-wi-fi-cards-detailed-on-the-website.802818/page-7

Upload delayed response with DSL router in SpeedTest

I'm trying to troubleshoot a slow web browsing response issue on a 10/.85 Mbps DSL connection using Thomson TG782 in central Europe. I'm well aware 10/.85 isn't exactly world record class. The curious thing is that while the final speedtest.net UL/DL speed figures are close to the declared...

    Netgear vs Linksys crazy?

Can there be a difference due to the output circuit and the antenna? Do the additional streams and beamforming actually typically improve performance at distance, or is this negotiable like MU-MIMO benefits? I mean, some folks claim they get better performance at distance with Mikrotik hAP...
