Yeah it doesn't do anything for me. I have an 86u and 68u and neither one seems to change if I max it or put it at the lowest setting.

Thanks. I don't have an Echo or FireTV so I can't verify that those work. I guess for whatever reason Apple products don't show this? I'm not familiar enough with how this setting works and when it should show up so if anyone knows, it'd be great to learn more about it out of curiosity.

I was looking at the wireless log section and all my connected devices and noticed that none of the device I have show M for MU Beamforming in the flags column. I assumed my iPhone11 Pro would show this? Or am I incorrect in assuming that? What conditions should I expect it to show up? Thanks.

Nope. Just setup the basic OpenVPN so I can connect to my home network with my phone. I don't have any other stuff running on the router.

I checked it and the time seems fine. The VPN actually works and I can connect to my home network from my phone without any issues.

FYI, this happened to me again after updating to 384.14. Is this something that will happen on every upgrade? Having to factory reset the router every update seems less than ideal...

Some reviews I've been reading says they can get close to gigabit speeds using moca, so it seems like that's probably the best option to run networking back down to the garage. The VLAN option sounds interesting though, but maybe more involved since I'm not that familiar with setting those up...

I have this problem too. 86u as main and 2 68u's as APs. I set it to -50 even and my device will hardly ever jump off to the other AP. It'll go down to -80 and still not jump to the AP which is at -50. Only if I disconnect/reconnect will it jump to the proper AP.

Ok. Then that's something I assume a normal AP setup won't do I assume. Guess I'll give it a try then and see if it works better.
