    Yeah when I do it on it it's 1.7gb directly. it's only the ASUS router. and yes everything is at default, I'm managing the wan on static IP to the router "Double NAT" and that's everything I have managed

    Internet bandwidth, when I make a speedtest directly on the router, at the begining I get the full speed. but few hours after it drops down to 700mb max

    Yeah thank you for your advice. I will do as you said and not waste money anywhere else. The only problem with the GT-AX11000 is that after few hours of routing I loose some of the bandwidth. it go down from 1.7gb to 700mb and impossible to get more. if I reset it. it go back again to 1.7gb

    That's also a good suggestion. I won't feel the difference, I just wanted to know if there was a cheap way to get all the bandwidth to my PC but like you said. if it's gonna cost a lot, it's not worth it

    Thanks for the suggestions. the GT-AX6000 is on sale on bestbuy and is at 220 CAD. might be a good option to buy it before the sale ends
