So is the "freshly minted" firmware for Blue Cave the release version, or the beta that I saw on here? Bummed if it's the former. I had checked the Asus site prior to purchase and they stated it was mesh compatible. I guess it's still technically true even if flawed haha

Ah, fair enough. So, say someone has two meshed AC-68u routers and they want to add a third one, but use it to replace the current main router. What would one do?

I currently have two AC-68u routers meshed. Just picked up a Blue Cave to have something a little easier on the eyes in the living room where our main router lives. Since our modem is wired in the living room, I want to make the Blue Cave the new main router with the twin ACs set up as nodes...
