RT-AC88U having high CPU usage from ASD - also dnsmasq-dhcp[410]: failed to write /var/lib/misc/dnsmasq.leases: No space left on device

Maybe I'm not technically adept enough to understand from reading this thread, but can someone explain (if we know) how this happened to so many different Asus routers models running many different versions of firmware? I would appreciate that, if possible. thx

RT-AC88U having high CPU usage from ASD - also dnsmasq-dhcp[410]: failed to write /var/lib/misc/dnsmasq.leases: No space left on device

LONG STORY SHORT: I was having exactly the same issue (same exact system log error as the OP and first reply) with the same symptoms on a RT-AC87R asus router. I did a "manual" reset (reset button factory reset) and it completely resolved my issues (as of 2 days ago from this post). I wanted to...

connecting to wifi redirects me to 192.168.1.1 after router reboot

connecting to wifi redirects me to 192.168.1.1 after router reboot

connecting to wifi redirects me to 192.168.1.1 after router reboot

the WAN wasn't down tho. I could ping fine from the router the whole time. The router was connected to the WAN for sure. Does that setting go haywire?

connecting to wifi redirects me to 192.168.1.1 after router reboot

so my network was running a bit slow, so I simply power cycled my router. after that I got immediately redirected to 192.168.1.1 and the router admin login when I reconnected to the router via wifi. I was running the latest (or close to the latest) merlin firmware for the rt-ac87. I ended up...
