    amtm amtm 6.1.4 - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu, July 21, 2025

Haven't had the "fallback servers" message but amtm has been taking an extraordinary long time to look for updates. I'm talking maybe 15 minutes for the 'u' command to run through.

    Just got an Entware update

    Just got a big Entware update, was that expected? No problems with it, it's just that I normally see it mentioned here first. These Entware updates are available: - column - 2.40.2-1 - 2.41-1 - openssh-sftp-server - 9.9_p1-1 - 10.0_p1-1 - zoneinfo-europe - 2024b-1 - 2025b-1 - jq - 1.7.1-1 -...

🐾 Idefix Terminal — an ultimate terminal in your ASUS-Merlin GUI

@scootertramp - it's a bit of a coincidence - the line that causes me problems is two lines before the "authorised client" line in your log.

🐾 Idefix Terminal — an ultimate terminal in your ASUS-Merlin GUI

OK, that's stopped happening with the latest release, so forget that! But now, it writes something to the syslog that stops it printing under Linux. Both cat and tail stop printing at that point. I copied the file to Windoze and looked at it in Notepad++ This is the line that causes the problem...

🐾 Idefix Terminal — an ultimate terminal in your ASUS-Merlin GUI

Thanks for moving the dog - he no longer obscures the text. But now the scrolling's a bit weird. If I have my pointer in the terminal window I can scroll the text just up/down just fine with the mouse wheel until it hits the bottom, then the whole browser window scrolls up and the terminal...

scMerlin scMerlin 2.5.40 - Service and script control menu for Asuswrt-Merlin

What do I need to do if I've already installed this version using the 'curl' scripts in this thread? Does amtm pick up the new version?

scMerlin scMerlin 2.5.40 - Service and script control menu for Asuswrt-Merlin

AHA - I did another uninstall and reinstall using the 'curl' script and now it's working! grep -E "el.style.display === 'block'" /tmp/state.js returns the following line if (el.style.display === 'block') { Rather annoyingly, I didn't see your post before I did the re-install, but I guess I...

scMerlin scMerlin 2.5.40 - Service and script control menu for Asuswrt-Merlin

Actually, I now realize it's not just those page. If I reload the page, I get the dropdowns. But if I click anywhere that isn't part of the menu or the dropdowns, they disappear.

scMerlin scMerlin 2.5.40 - Service and script control menu for Asuswrt-Merlin

I went into amtm, did 'j3' then 'fu' It says I have version (v2.5.20) But the dropdowns still disappear after I click on the AiMesh or Netmap pages.

I uninstalled scMerlin, then downloaded and ran your version using the curl command above. I didn't do a forced update after that, I'll try the latest version.

scMerlin scMerlin 2.5.40 - Service and script control menu for Asuswrt-Merlin

I've installed your version v2.5.20 after uninstalling the last version. The Dropdowns still disappear for me after a few clicks. It seems to be after I've clicked on the 'AiMesh' tab
