    RT-AC3100 Console Gaming Question.

    I had the AC87R and now have the AC3100. With the AC87R my xbox one was getting anywhere from 35-50 down and about 12-15 up on the AC3100 I get closer to 50 down and 14-16 up and that is on the 5GHz band. The problem I have with this is that my connection speed is 155/15 so I am getting the...

    Sounds like there is definitely something wrong with the one you got. I consistently get 170-180 mbits over wifi and have gotten as fast as 232 when my connection was really peaking! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Well considering the rest of the house won't be on a battery backup, I am pretty sure I would know that power is out if I am awake due to the lights being out. But if I were sleeping and it was just running my router and modem I wouldn't want to hear a beeping either.

    I agree I was coming from the RT-N66U, made the mistake of trying out the RT-AC87R and that was a nightmare. I am happy with RT-AC3100
