I asked to Asus and their answer was to install their latest firmware!! WOW They are just too impressive. I just take a chance that you maybe know more about their firmware than them...
Anyone have any news on the progress of the AFC? According to Asus it was supposed to arrive soon for the GT-BE98 Pro and it will be almost 2 years now....
Merlin's firmware version for the RT-BE96 is now 2 late versions, giving the impression that Asus no longer supplies its GPL to Merlin. Asus already has a big problem with its speed to fix bugs in its firmware. What more do they block Merlin in the development of its version?
Never do a restore of settings after a factory reset!! Rewrite your setting manually. If you have problems, you come back your problems with your restore process...
Good timing, today my internet connection crashed on my BE98Pro and the Aimesh link between my BE98Pro and my BE96U was broken....
After waiting months for each firmware release, Asus look to be more proactive with their firmware release... If they maintain the beat it will be a very good news!!

I can understand for the rt-ax88u router but the rt-be96 is a wifi7 router with MLO.... it's stupid that Asus don't support it... Is it planned to support it in future?

I use Plex and never used AiCloud. It can be removed without problem.
