A couple of reviews on the R6300 appeared on Amazon.
It looks like some firmware issues (Guest network and PS3 connectivity). A Netgear rep has commented to both. Mid-June firmware update should fix Guest network issue.

You were both right. I did have the SSID broadcast turned off in my router. I should have checked that first. I forgot I had set it that way (awhile ago). I never detected any of my neighbors' networks, either. Later, when I went outside with it, I found another network...

I just got it to work. I reset network settings in the iPod Touch software. It still didn't detect my network. I typed in my SSID and WPA key, it detected my network and connected.
It seems to work at different parts of the house, now. I hope it stays working.
I have been using a Belkin Pre-N F5D8230-4 for awhile. I have had a PS3 connected to it for a couple of years with no issues.
